Cancellations and Amendment

We recognise that on occasion attendees will book onto a course and subsequently find they are unable to attend. Exceptional circumstances will always be taken into account when cancellations are necessary so if this situation does arise, please notify us of your need to cancel or postpone as soon as possible.

For attendees who have purchased a Real Birth Company package, if necessary, you can postpone part of the package once, free of charge.

For attendees who have purchased a standalone course the following refund policy will come into effect, should you need to cancel,

1 month before the start of the course 100% will be refunded less £25 administration fee

2 weeks or more before the start of the course 50% of the course fee is refundable Less than 2 weeks before the start of the course no fee is refundable.

GDPR

The participant also agrees that Zoe Wright and The Real Birth Company Limited shall hold your details on file and on computer and, in accordance with the GDPR Act 2018, you have the right to view, amend or delete your individual file by giving not less than seven days’ written notice. We treat your personal data with the utmost care and keep only relevant information to process your booking or membership. We will not sell or give your information to a 3rd party.

Intellectual Property

Any and all written material to support the training courses, whether in hard copy or electronic included as part or any of the courses and all rights worldwide (including Intellectual Property Rights) relating thereto respectively are the sole property of Zoe Wright, The Real Birth Company Limited, or others from whom such rights may be derived (whether or not protected by trademark and copyright laws) and may not be used other than for the personal use of the participant in face-to-face courses while they are a registered teacher of The Real Birth Company Limited without obtaining prior written permission. The participant agrees not to record the course or any part thereof. The participant also agrees that, from time to time, The Real Birth Company Limited, may film or record the course for sales, marketing, promotional or quality control purposes.

By attending the event, the participant consents to being filmed or recorded for the duration of the event and agrees that Zoe Wright and The Real Birth Company Limited shall retain all Intellectual Property Rights arising from any resulting media.

Disclaimer

The Real Birth Programme and Workshop, its teachers or its representatives accept no responsibility for the inappropriate use of the programme or complications or harm to any third party resulting from the use of the programme and techniques as a substitute for medical advice.

The Real Birth Company’s courses are intended solely as an ‘aid’ to ‘help’ increase knowledge of birth physiology and through this add to the comfort of labour and birth and is not in any way a guarantee or promise of expected, imagined or actual outcome of the labour or birth in any way shape or form.

Participation in these classes in any part or in total by any person or third party is undertaken with the understanding by any persons or third party that no litigation or legal action whatsoever will be initiated or that no form of compensation or reimbursement or refund will be claimed or applied for at any time now or in the future against Zoe Wright, The Real Birth Company Limited, its instructors, its teachers, or its representatives under any circumstances whatsoever.

Agreement

Any booking of any Real Birth Company Courses assumes full and informed compliance to and agreement with all of these terms and conditions of sale. In the event of a dispute, English law pertains.
